I have recently started linking noteworthy posts made by authors on Reddit. You can view the picks here along with my comments. Check it out and if you like what you see help evangelize Science Fiction on the blogosphere by giving content that you think is worthy a thumbs up by hitting the up arrow to the left of the post.

A few days ago the Armchair Anarchist over at Velcro City Tourist Board tagged us with a book meme and since then it’s been cropping up in some very odd places… Find out where we managed to trace it to.

O.K After much debugging and almost killing the blog a couple of times I think I’ve got this all figured out. Now once again I need the help of our international readership to tell me if this actually works in the way I think it should.

Apologies to anyone (especially if you read via Rss) who’s been presented with various errors and time outs today. I’ve been trying to get a clever little plugin that lets me add links automatically to work, and had it all set up until I tried to get rid of a very minor bug, namely an extra space after each link.

O.K. This is going to sound a bit weird but I’m playing with an extremely complicated bit of code to do something extremely simple. Basically I’m going to be putting “buy this book” links to Amazon into the posts when we interview authors, but since our audience is split between the US and the UK I want Brits to be directed to Amazon.co.uk and Americans to Amazon.com, everyone else will also end up at Amazon.com I’m afraid.

As you can see the new blog is up and running and hopefully is all working o.k. If you have any problems just leave a comment below and we’ll fix it soon as poss.

We kick the week off with an interview with Paul Hartzog about Panarchy theory which he is a primary developer of. He contributes to Smart Mobs and also blogs at Panarchy. We get his take on a few issues with respect to share and sharing alike.

As I mentioned yesterday we’re going to be migrating the blog over to our own domain and moving from blogger to wordpress. The new address will be www.memetherapy.net and I’m hoping to be done sometime next week.

Apologies to any of you who may have visited rectly only to discover that Meme Therapy has turned into a single scary looking block of text, but we’re going to be migrating over to our own domain over the next couple of days and so I’ve been importing the posts into wordpress.

It’s been a while since we’ve had some science ficiton related content on the blog but we’re making up for some lost time with an interview with young turk science fiction author and coolio blogger John Scalzi.

You’ve probably noticed that blogging Canadian SF writers are overepresented here. Well that trend continues. We’ve resolved not to make a meal out of links posts. There’s other guys doing a great job and we doubt we could do better. However I do spend a lot of time on author’s blogs and thought it might be an idea to specialize and do the odd links posts highlighting my favourite posts there. So here goes:
